Day 8 - April 5
Well we had our first real "adventure" of the trip. If it weren't for challenges trips like these would be boring and we would never want to take them. Today as we were getting on the freeway we heard a high pitched belt sound followed by a thud. We lost a belt, lucky it was just the A/C belt, but daddy will have to put a new one on tomorrow. Update: Daddy put the new belt on this morning with Mason jumping on his back half the time, but we are ready for another 1500 miles or so!!
We had a great time playing at our park in Isleton, CA. It is a small fishing town with a whole bunch of RV parks. Big Brother Mason ran all over the park and scouted every last wet part of it. Then we went for an adventure in the car and daddy came out of a store with a new belt! We then went to Mason's choice for dinner, he kept says "Donald's Mason, Mason Donald's" and pointing toward a big M sign. So, daddy stopped. We have paid for 3 nights here, but aren't sure if we will stay the whole time. We are off to monster truck show in Fresno this weekend which should be quite fun!
