Day 72 - June 7 - Lake Oswego, OR

Wow This is so close to it, tomorrow we go to the harbor and then home!  We had a great day today.  Everyone woke up a little tired.  Daddy stayed out late last night with some old friends of his from Crystal Mountain and a new one.  He hung out with his good friend Nelson Wingard and Gavin, Allison and Karen.  They are all profession skiers and wind surfing bums (sorry but it is true) during the summer time.  He was home at midnight, he almost woke me up when he brushed his teethe, frankly I am just glad he brushes.

Then this morning we got up, me first and then Mason.  I went back to sleep, Mason not so much.  We cruised in for breakfast and fun at 7:30!  Bob made us the best blueberry pancakes I ever had, of course I ate mine at 9:00.  Everyone else thought they were really good too.   We hung out a little while with Kim and then we went to see Nelson.  Daddy says Nelson is going to teach us to ski someday.  Daddy says we should take note because Nelson is on the U.S. demo team which means he is one of the top 13 instructors in the world.  He is currently the director of the entire ski school for Steamboat Mountain in Colorado.  He took us to the beach and showed us how windsurfing works.  I mostly slept, sorry Nelson but anything not revolving around me or mommy's milk is of little interest to me at this point.  Mason liked all the pretty colors and was very upset when we had to leave.  I don't know if mommy and daddy noticed, but he always gets edgy at around 12:00 and around 8:30 at night.

After that we hooked up the car and went to Lake Oswego and Sherwood to see the other Conan's (Mark, Joanna, Jenna, Michael, Greg and aunt Carol) and pick up our car and tow dolly.  The guys were so nice they even washed them for us!  Daddy had new tires put on the tow dolly and it is better than new.  After that we had dinner and hung out.  We discovered that Greg is one of our biggest fans.  He knew all about our trip and was surprised that the motorhome was so "small" in real life, especially my room.  We had a great time, Jenna and Michael jumped with Mason on the trampoline (a new favorite word) and Jenna taught mommy how to do a flip on the trampoline.  Daddy woosed out, he said his big toe actually hurt from pushing on the gas in his sandals for 72 days, I guess it is a good thing we are going home :)

We leave Thursday early and daddy is going to a Mariners Game while we see Grandma in Gig Harbor.
