Day 64-65 May 30-31 Rapid City South Dakota

We woke up this morning and hit the road headed west. We drove through the badlands on the way. Daddy stopped and made all of us (even mommy) wake up so we could see the cool rocks. Though it was just dirt, it was really cool dirt. Not sure what is so bad about the land, it looked pretty nice to me.

We decided to stay overnight at a place in Rapid City called the Hart Ranch. It may be the nicest park we have been in yet mommy says. They have a golf course, concrete sites a restaurant and just about everything else one could think of. Some friends we met in our home park in Georgia told us about it.

We made it in to town, evidently daddy was still concerned about the tires. We went to a place called Dale's Tire Shop (biggest in SD) and they hooked us up with tires and rotated the one's we had. We are ready to go around the U.S. again daddy says. We went up to see some faces on a rock (I didn't know who they were, but I think they were all 'presents' or something mommy said.

Since the tires took some hours from us, though mommy said we got one of them back by entering the Mountain Time Zone. It was such a nice place that we decided to relax for a while. We haven't had a lot of down time the last 5 weeks so we decided to stay an extra day so daddy could golf. We are planning to go to a place called Cosmo's today a few people have told us it is a really cool virtual reality place that you get to see and feel cool stuff.

Today we "vegged out" daddy watched Dog the Bounty Hunter while we went to breakfast and the park and while we napped it started raining outside. Not really raining, but more like flooding, so guess who didn't get to play golf. That's O.K. I think that money would be better spent on Luke, this is after all the tour de Luke. We leave tomorrow morning with new rubber for Wyoming to stay with Bree, Rod and Michael.
