Day 56-57 May 22-23

We are basically just traveling right now. This country is so beautiful. We couldn't believe just how beautiful and green this place is. We are in South Bend, IN.

We have stayed the last two nights in KOA campgrounds. Our friend Dan Frohlich recommended them and they have been VERY nice and clean with great play areas. For being in the middle of nowhere they are a little spendy at $36/night. But, we were able to watch 24 last night which both mommy and daddy wanted to watch.

Matt and Brandi and Arden gave daddy a little something special. He has a soar throat and a fever. He is already feeling better today and should be good as new today. We have an appointment to have the furnace serviced here at 3:00 and then we will hit the road to visit mommy's friend Jackie Blood in Minneapolis on Wednesday then we will see mommy's South Dakota friends and family the next couple days.

We decided to skip Chicago since we have seen it a few times already. But, we are going to go to the Amish country today, they are having a sale of Amish goods today, we will look for souvenirs. We hope to camp at Yogi Bear Jellystone park in Fort Atkinson tonight, but we will have to see how far daddy can drive it is over 200 miles away.
