Day 49 May 16

Today was a great day.  I was finally able to sleep in and relax a little bit before we started touring.  We headed into DC around 10:00.  We walked around the capital and took some cool pictures.  We then headed to the Natural museum.  We were able to see all sorts of fossils and stuffed animals (real stuffed animals).  Mason kept saying "Dinosaur bones, Dinosaur bones" and he enjoyed running around with mommy looking at all the animals.  I enjoyed napping on daddy and was very cozy in the bjorn.  Both Mason and I were a little on the sleepy side, today.

We saw the place in Forest Gump where Jenny jumped into the water and was yelling "Forest, Forest, Forest."  Daddy thought about jumping in but because he was carrying me I wouldn't have it.  And that's about all I have to say about that.

We observed some people from Ethiopa protesting and there was a huge congregation of people yelling in a foreign language.  We walked to the Washington monument, Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean War, and World War II memorials.  We walked, and walked, and walked, and walked (or should I say daddy and mommy).  It was fun to see all of DC, but we are looking forward to touring and maybe relaxing a little for a few days.  The people in DC seem very tired or grumpy, no one smiled at me on the tram (and I usually get lots of attention).
