Day 34 - May 1
Yesterday after I wrote to you we had a great time at the beach, they are so beautiful here! We at a place called Joe's Seafood and it was good at least good smelling. Mason found some toys on the beach to climb on and he was in heaven. We finally rolled in late, but had to hit the road early. It was a crazy time.
Today we drove to Jacksonville, FL to visit some old friends of daddy's. The drive was relatively uneventful. Daddy found this place called Cracker Barrel that rents books, so he has been listening to them as he drives down the road. I am kind of growing tired of the motorhome rides. At first it was fun, but now it is actually getting quite tiresome, actually I am awake so just annoying. I like to be held and don't like it when they ignore me.
Once we got there we parked the motorhome at the Wal-Mart next door and went over to there house. It was really cool they even had a pool in back. Mason and daddy got in the pool with Angela and Rachel (their girls). Daddy and Scott had a great time together catching up and renewing. Scott is a Red Sox fan and daddy got the treat of watching the Boston/New York game on a HD TV. A little bigger than the 9" TV's he has gotten used to. On this one you cold not only see the ball you could see the threads on the ball.
The Tavolieris were able to get mommy hooked on Sweet tea. She insisted that we buy some so she could truly enjoy this southern part of our journey. Daddy says he will stick with Coke or Diet Coke.
Tomorrow we are getting back in the motorhome and headed south to more beaches. On the way we may stop and see some more friends of daddy's from his time in Orlando.
