Day 24 - April 21st
What a crazy day this was!
Thursday afternoon mommy started noticing that she had little red "bite" marks all over her. Daddy and mommy were very worried that she might be having an allergic reaction, she is allergic to bugs and bees. During the night mommy woke up several times (and so did I.)
By the time it was morning she had hives everywhere and woke daddy up at 6:00 (or I did, it is hard to tell) saying "I need to seek medical attention." So we had our first ER visit of the trip, actually it was Urgent Care, but what is the difference? They determined that mommy was allergic to the drugs she was taking from her infection and gave her some drugs. Mommy started getting better in the first few hours.
After all of that drama, they actually wanted me to drink formula! Can you believe it, something about mommy taking Benadryl might make me tired. So, I let them know what I thought of their stupid bottles! Daddy isn't near tough enough to feed me, grandma tried too, but I know how to get what I want. Eventually they let me just drink from mommy like normal, I knew they would come to their senses after 3 hours. But, for some reason I was tired the rest of the day.
It is all a fog after that, but I remember going out to Ray and Char Needham's for dinner. They also live on a golf course, I think it is the one daddy tore up the day before. It was a good dinner and a great time. Mommy and daddy both shared how much they liked Ray and Char. Well, that is all for now, daddy says there is a NASCAR race right here Saturday, but he doesn't think Mason will like it.
