Day 15 - April 13 - California
Today was a great day! It was so beautiful out that we couldn't help but have a great day. Daddy put in all of the new seats today. They look really nice. Mommy and daddy both said that if they had known that they were going to have expensive mechanical problems they may not have bought them. But, they are sure happy to have them. It looks like a brand new motorhome in here. I think it might be hard to get daddy out of the recliner. He just sits in them and moans "ahhhhhh". But, then big brother Mason and I bring him back to reality by running off, crying or jumping on him.
Mason road his tricycle today outside of the motorhome. He did pretty well, he hasn't quite figured out how to steer yet, but he is learning to peddle. After that we met our friends Travis, Sara, Riley and Berkley Messer for some fun on the beach. We had a great time. Mason ran all over, I just chilled in my "special place" and mommy talked to Sara while daddy chased Mason and Travis played in the water with Riley. Mason however was of course able to find Monster trucks on the beach.
We then went out to this fancy seafood place for dinner, it was quite a day. I had had enough and started crying to let mommy and daddy and everyone in the restaurant know that I wasn't happy that they were eating without me. But, don't worry I got my food faster than they did for some reason! Persistence pays off in public places.
Big brother Mason has gone through some transitions. He went from saying "go home" three days into the trip to jumping in his car seat every morning and saying "motorhome ride." I think he likes traveling better than hanging out. I like traveling too, I get lots of good sleep! We are traveling today to desert springs, CA so mommy can get some pampering, still not sure what that means.
